- Karlee is the eldest of three children born to Richard and Kathleen Raton. She has one younger brother, Adrien, and a younger sister, Crimson. Unlike her brother and sister, she was born a bit ginger; a natural redhead. They still can't figure out why she's a redhead, but just chalk it up to random genetics.
- Ever since she was little, she wanted to be one of two things. A ballerina, or an actress. She found ballerinas to be quite graceful and beautiful. But she found herself getting more into the idea of acting after she had gotten older and saw Audrey Hepburn in the classic film Breakfast At Tiffany's as well as the entire cast of the Golden Girls, who are like idols to her.
- In school, she kept exceptionally good grades. She also took part in theater due to her growing interest in acting. She landed several lead roles in school plays. She was an outstanding addition to her school.
- In her last semester of high school, she took part in a foreign exchange program where she was able to spend a semester of her senior year in Glasgow, Scotland. While there, he fell in love with the area, the scenery, the history. The entire culture. It wasn't just one large kilt wearing and beer drinking haven. It was much more than that and she knew she wanted to spend more time there.
- She spent between nineteen and twenty three in Glasgow attending an acting school to sharpen her skills. Her time there caused her to gain the traditional Scottish accent and she now speaks with it more than her normal voice she was born with.
- After acting school, she had bought herself a home in Glasgow and filed for double residency which was given to her. She made some trips back to the states for family affairs and some vacations, but she mainly lives in Glasgow.
- While in Glasgow, she managed to land several television roles. One in an SNL-like off the cuff comedy for a short-term contract and other various small fill-in spots. Her biggest accomplishment in her career was landing the role of Amelia/Amy Pond in the eleventh incarnation of the BBC hit Doctor Who, which is currently airing and filming.
- Since Doctor Who began, she has been named the sexiest companion the Doctor has had - which she finds flattering, but weird. And has become a little bit of a minor paparazzi magnet, with the UK version of the paparazzi.
- She's in a relationship and has been for a year and half. She hasn't really spoken a lot about him and likes to keep her personal life just that. Private. But she seems to have a lot of wonderful chemistry with him to have been going on for this long. After a bit of an incident, Karlee and her boyfriend parted ways. She's single now.
- She's a sucker for adventure and scenery. She enjoys being outdoors a lot and her job provides an outlet for that. Her home is a cottage-like place near the mountains, which she loves very much.
- She never forgets her family and often writes to them when she can't see them. She loves them massively and shows that quite often.
